Refund Policy
Riches Beauty Academy institutional refund policy applies to all regularly enrolled students who terminate for any reason, by either party, including student decisions, course cancellation, student expulsion, or school closure.
• An applicant is not accepted by the school. Students who are not accepted by the school are entitled to a refund of all monied paid.
• Student is expelled by school. The expulsion date will be determined by the date that Riches Beauty Academy informs student of expulsion in writing, or the information is delivered in person, If expulsion occurs within 7 days of the course start dat, student is entitled to a pro-rata refund based on the REFUND table below less the registration fee of $100.00 and any non-refundable fees for books, course materials, practical kits, technology, aprons, and ID cards received.
• Student does not return from a leave of absence in the allotted 180 days. If the student has not communicated their intent to return from their leave of absence within the 180 day timeframe, they will be administratively withdrawn and entitled to pro-rata refund based on the REFUND TABLE below less the registration fee of $100.00 and any non-refundable fees for books, course materials, practical kits, technology, aprons, and ID cards received.
• If Riches Beauty Academy ceases to offer instruction after the student begins classes, the student is entitled to a pro-rata refund of tuition based on the REFUND TABLE below less the registration fee of $100.00 any non-refundable fees for books, course materials, kits aprons and ID cards received.
• Refunds are calculated based on a student’s scheduled hours.
• Total tuition is the amount stated on the student enrollment contract for the course in which the student is enrolled.
• Program length is a period in clock hours for a clock hour program or calendar time for a credit hour program as specified in the student enrollment contract.
• All refunds will be issued within 45 days of official cancellation or withdrawal by the student or expulsion/administrative withdrawal by Riches Beauty Academy in the form of a check to the address of record.

Personal Conduct Policy
• At Riches Beauty Academy we are dedicated to maintaining a professional, respectful and optimal learning environment at all times. It is the expectation that any student, staff or faculty member will carry themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Failure to do so can result in immediate dismissal from Riches Beauty Academy.
• Profanity, arguing, verbal or physical threats to any person(s), disruptive behavior or any behaviorsdeemed “unprofessional & disrespectful) are not permitted. Warnings/levels of warnings will be given at the discretion of the Riches Beauty Academy faculty.
• First offense - verbal warning
• Second offense - suspension from campus
• Third offense - dismissal from Riches Beauty Academy
• Repeated instances of refusing to perform studies or services will result in disciplinary action.
• Drug or alcohol use is not permitted on campus.
• Stealing from staff, students or faculty will result in immediate dismissal and law enforcement will be notified.
• Fighting/any form of assault and/or battery is not permitted, will result in immediate dismissal and law enforcement will be notified.
• Destruction of personal property of Riches Beauty Academy or any student, staff or faculty member is not permitted, will result in immediate dismissal and law enforcement will be notified.
• Warnings are used at the discretion of Riches Beauty Academy. Having received no prior warnings does not prevent dismissal from Riches Beauty Academy. Any violation of the personal conduct/discipline policy can result in dismissal from the academy.
Attendance Policy
• Each course is the required length necessary to complete its scheduled hours. It is the responsibility of the student to attend class consistently to obtain the required hours necessary to complete the course.
• A student is not to exceed seven absences. On the eighth day, the student will be withdrawn from the course.
Leave of Attendance
• Reasons for taking a Leave of Absence may be (but not limited to) death in the family, personal/health issue’s vacation, other mitigating circumstance.
• Only one leave of absence is allowed per student during the scheduled course.
• If a Leave of Absence is more than 30 days, the student will return to attendance when the next scheduled course reaches the same curriculum week their Leave of Absence began.
• A Leave of Absence may not extend more than 180 days.
• A leave of absence may extend past 180 days if the student has notified Riches Beauty Academy of intent to return and in the waiting for the current course to reach the same curriculum week the student’s leave began, the total time on leave extends pass 180 days.
